And the Oscar goes to….

The Oscars awards ceremony is set to take place in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Ahead of the Hollywood gala across the pond, the TSG.TV jury convened to pick out the winners of the TSG Oscars across a range of categories.

Best goal

Reiss Nelson in "No Country for Old Men"

This season has seen the young Brit wow the Hoffenheim faithful when he's been called upon, whether as a first-team starter or a super sub coming off the bench. The 19-year-old youngster opened the scoring in the 4-1 win in Leverkusen on Matchday 10, for which he was awarded the TSG Oscar for best goal.

Best comeback

TSG Hoffenheim in "Cindarella Man"

Even tactical mastermind Julian Nagelsmann probably didn't expect his team to bounce back from three goals down to claim a point away to league leaders Borussia Dortmund. But ultimately the "Nagelsmann Eleven", spearheaded by Ishak Belfodil and Pavel Kaderabek, pulled off the impossible.

Best celebration

Nico Schulz and Adam Szalai in "The Untouchables"

First-team stars Nico Schulz and Adam Szalai not only enjoy a good understanding on the pitch; they are neighbours and spend a lot of time together in their private lives too. As much was evident in their heartfelt celebration after they combined to put Hoffenheim 2-1 ahead against Freiburg on Matchday 2, with Szalai scoring and Schulz assisting. They were inseparable – just like any good friends.

Best fans

TSG fans in "The Vow"

The TSG Hoffenheim faithful have once again been the team's 12th man this season – whether during the fan march in Manchester or the choreographies they organised against Fortuna Düsseldorf and Shakhtar Donetsk. The supporters fully deserved the TSG Oscar due to their unconditional support.
