1899's international players

Marco Terrazzino, Jukka Raitala, Vedad Ibisevic, Sejad Salihovic, Andreas Beck and Demba Ba were all in action for their respective nations over the past few days. Only Raitala could manage victory, however, with Finland.

Marco Terrazzino was part of the Germany U19 side which lost 2-1 against Turkey U19 in Luxembourg. Terrazzino was one of the shining lights in an otherwise tame German performance.

Finnish U21 international and Hoffenheim defender Jukka Raitala helped his side to a 4-0 victory over Luxembourg. Raitala played the full 90 minutes.

Andreas Beck played all 90 minutes of Germany's final World Cup qualifying match against Finland. Following the 1-1 draw, the defender had this to say: "Obviously it's never nice when the fans whistle like that and I think it was a bit unfair, although we didn't play particularly well. Still, it was hardly an embarrassment."

Demba Ba was part of the Senegal team which lost 2-0 against South Korea in Seoul. The striker had the African side's biggest chance but could only find the post.

After securing their place in the playoffs on Saturday, Sejad Salihovic and Vedad Ibisevic were both of the end of a 5-2 battering for Bosnia at the hands of European champions Spain. Both Hoffenheim stars played the full 90 minutes.
