U17 player Jykese Fields impresses for FC Cincinnati

The Generation Adidas Cup in Florida is one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in the USA. Forty teams from different age groups took part in the competition in Florida – including international clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal and Sporting Lisbon. TSG Hoffenheim also participated in the tournament. Although the club was not represented with its own team, U17 player Jykese Fields played in the Generation Cup as part of the partnership with MLS club FC Cincinnati.

Fields, who was born in the USA, impressed with some strong performances and led FC Cincinnati to the round of 16, where the team were only defeated on penalties. "I'm very grateful to the people at TSG for the experience I was able to gain in the USA. The tournament was great fun and a great learning experience for me," concluded a satisfied Fields.
