Demba Ba misses two flights – 1899 Hoffenheim set to enforce consequences

Hoffenheim announced that star striker Demba Ba managed to miss the teams original flight to Murcia and then refused to travel on Tuesday when an alternate flight was organised. There are no plans in place to make further arrangements.

The Senegalese striker pulled out late on from the teams original plans on Monday as well. "Demba's recent conduct will of course have consequences. It's disrespectful to the club and his employers, and maybe more importantly his teammates, will not tolerate such behaviour", stated Ernst Tanner. Tanner also admitted that he believed it was a ploy by Demba Ba to force his way out of the club as he seeks a move abroad. "We've already had the situation once at Hoffenheim, where Demba Ba wanted to leave at all costs. The manner in which the player has tried to put pressure on us for a second time in unique to the Bundesliga."
