Dortmund match reaction: "Last minute sensation"

Here is the match reaction after the 2-1 win against Borussia Dortmund:

Markus Gisdol: The first hour is easy to summarise: We were lucky that it was only 1-0 to Dortmund at the end of it. Our belief grew after that and we took the lead due to the penalties. The last minute surrounding the 2-2 was an emotional sensational. You can barely describe it. The goal was rightly ruled out. We have to take this euphoria with us and make sure we prepare properly for the Kaiserslautern game.

Andreas Beck: It's beyond description. Until today, we've never won here but everything went to plan. We knew that our time would come around the 60th and 70th minute if we were still in the game at that point. Everything happened the way it should have. We made the changes at half time. We were strong in the tackle and Koen had an excellent game. Then they score an equaliser before the referee was convinced by the linesman to change his mind – it was like a thriller.

Sven Schipplock: I've never experienced anything like it as a player. It's something you only really hear about on the television. I've never had as much adrenaline in my body as today, especially at the end of the game. At 2-2, I was destroyed and on the floor but then everything was restored: absolutely incredible. At the final whistle we knew we were in the relegation spot. Good finish, at least for today.

Robin Szarka: It was an incredible result in this stadium. My debut in this footballing sensation – there are no words. I found out from the assistant manager that I was going to be subbed on. We believed in ourselves the whole time, especially after our equaliser. The whole team gave everything today. It was fantastic.

Jannik Vestergaard: We got the luck today that we've lacked in the season so far. Koen had a fantastic game. Now we have the chance to stay in the division and we must take it. I'm not bothered whether we are favourites or not. We want to play our game and take the confidence from today's match. Right now, it's just an incredible feeling.

Sebastian Rudy: Today was incredible. We had a chance to push on at 1-1 and we recognised it. We were overjoyed at going 2-1 up and then horrified at their late equaliser. I had goosebumps all over. No one had bargained on us hanging around and now we are in the relegation play-off spot. We want to give everything.

Jürgen Klopp: We played superbly for 60 minutes but didn't take our chances. Then we were cautious, as if we were two or three goals up. That wasn't good. I saw both penalty incidents after the game, both were correctly given. The finale was hectic. It was important to me today that we were focused on being competitive. It was an intense game that we would have liked to have won.
