There have been large-scale roadworks in Sinsheim on Neulandstraße/In der Au since 15.04.2014. The works begin on the approach to the stadium (Dietmar-Hopp-Straße) and end in Sinsheim-Steinsfurt, In der Au. Traffic can always drive through the works from Sinsheim to Sinsheim-Steinsfurt in a one-way system. From Sinsheim-Steinsfurt, traffic can only reach the stadium by taking the diversion along the B39 towards Sinsheim-Zentrum and then turning towards the stadium.
Directions are well signposted.
Visitors from the direction of Heilbronn are recommended to take the A6 motorway to junction Sinsheim-Süd and then to follow signs to the car park.
Visitors from Eppingen, Kirchhardt, and others are also recommended to take the A6 motorway to Sinsheim-Süd and then follow signs to the car park.
This diversion is also signposted.
P12 - P15:
When arriving from Sinsheim, access to the car park on Neulandstraße is always possible by the usual route.
P9 - P11:
Experience suggests that the public car parks at the stadium (P9 – P11) will be full half an hour before kick-off at the latest. Alternative parking can then be found on Neulandstraße (P12 – P15).
We have a certain number of parking spaces available for disabled guests. Access to the disabled parking spaces is only possible with your disability pass and the marker “aG” on your licence. For those who are deemed more than 50% disabled, there are parking spaces at the car park for those with the marker “G”. Please be aware that access to the car park will no longer be possible when full. Access for wheelchair users is possible on presentation of a valid match ticket.
There are no changes to the above details when leaving the stadium.
However, when leaving car parks 14 and 15 (at the Auto & Technik Museum), you can only head east (towards Sinsheim-Steinsfurt).
As a general rule:
Drivers should follow the detailed signs on their way to and from the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar Arena.
As well as the normal timetabled trains, Deutsche Bahn also lay on relief trains for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim’s home matches.
For a quicker and safer arrival/departure, use the “Sinsheim Museum/Arena” station, where all trains stop. The WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar Arena is then only a 15-minute walk away.
There is also an additional shuttle bus service that operates between the bus station at Sinsheim Hauptbahnhof (Elsenz) and the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar Arena (Sinsheim-Süd business park, Am Hummelberg)
Match tickets for games at the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar Arena are also valid as travel tickets on services run by the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (VRN) and the Heilbronner/Hohenloher/Haller Nahverkehr (HNV).
