TSG sign Norway international Tarik Elyounoussi

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim has strengthened its squad for the new season with the signing of Norway international Tarik Elyounoussi. The 25-year-old joins from Rosenborg BK and has signed a contract until 2017. The transfer fee is undisclosed.

The Moroccan-born attacker has scored 49 goals in 149 games in Norway since 2005. He has scored twelve times in 22 appearances for Rosenborg since the turn of the year. Elyounoussi is currently the top scorer of the 2013 Tippeligaen campaign with six goals in twelve matches, and has also contributed six assists.

Hoffenheim's new signing has earned 21 senior caps for Norway so far and has scored six goals for his country. He recently captained his nation in a 2-0 win against Macedonia in Oslo on June 11th.
