TSG demolish Mainz 12-1 in Home Challenge

TSG Hoffenheim have followed up their victory over SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the opening fixture of the DFL Home Challenge last Saturday with another win this weekend, with the duo of Marcel Schwarz and Munas Dabbur demolishing 1. FSV Mainz 05 by a 12-1 scoreline. Munas Dabbur was at the heart of the action in both PlayStation matches.

The first match was contested between Marcel Schwarz, a TSG season ticket holder from Bielefeld, and Julian Greis, a YouTuber from "FIFAGoalsUnited". Schwarz made the perfect start, opening the scoring through virtual Munas Dabbur in the fourth minute, with Andrej Kramarić doubling the lead seven minutes later. Dabbur got his second goal of the game when he slotted the ball home from close range in the 44th minute. But there was more to come from the Israeli after the break: the striker netted four times in the second half to take his tally for the match to six goals, as TSG ran out comfortable 7-0 victors.

Having seen the masterclass from his own avatar, the real Munas Dabbur subsequently took on his fellow professional Florian Müller. The TSG forward made a bright start and took the lead through Kramarić with only eight minutes on the clock. Dabbur doubled the advantage was his own avatar on 21 minutes, before adding another through Kramarić two minutes before the break.

Mainz managed to reduce the deficit to 3-1 when Müller scored with Latza in the 54th minute, but TSG responded almost immediately with virtual Dabbur teeing up Kramarić to complete his hat-trick and make it 4-1. Ihlas Bebou added another goal on the 69-minute mark to complete a 5-1 rout for Dabbur.

As the ties are determined by the combined scoreline from both matches, TSG Hoffenheim beat 1. FSV Mainz 05 2-1.

Results:

Marcel Schwarz 7-0 Julian Greis

Munas Dabbur 5-1 Florian Müller
