Esports: Dabbur wins the #homecup with TSG

Gaming success for Munas Dabbur: the Hoffenheim player's remarkable FIFA ability was on show once again on Tuesday evening as he won the #homecup competition sponsored by interwetten.

Dabbur beat gamer Benedikt Bauer, who was representing VfL Wolfsburg and is an e-sports professional for the club, in the semi-final of the Playstation competition before comfortably beating Luis Fernandez, a player at Asteras Tripolis, in the final. Dabbur beat his opposition, who played as Spain, by a 5-2 scoreline. "Who's next," he subsequently wrote on his Instagram account.

The forward will have another chance to prove himself on the console at the weekend: Dabbur is set to represent TSG in a DFL-organised FIFA tournament on Saturday.

Unfortunately, real football is not on the cards for the 27-year-old at present. He is still undergoing rehabilitation after tearing the biceps tendon in his knee in the match away to Borussia Mönchengladbach in February.
