#Excitement: The TSG games in February

TSG Hoffenheim will play five competitive games over the next four weeks – the DFB Cup Round of 16 and four Bundesliga matches. During that run, coach Alfred Schreuder's charges will go head to head with FC Bayern Munich twice. achtzehn99.de has an overview of TSG's games in February below.

Wednesday 5 February, 20:45 CET: FC Bayern Munich vs. TSG

TSG Hoffenheim have finally reached the DFB Cup Round of 16 again – although the toughest of tasks awaits them there. FC Bayern are the opponents, but Schreuder's charges will travel to the reigning champions in confident mood following their 2-1 win in Munich in October. The two teams have never faced each other in the cup, though they have each won three of their last six league meetings.

Saturday 8 February, 15:30 CET: SC Freiburg vs. TSG

The local rivals will be competing for Baden derby supremacy in their 20th Bundesliga meeting. Both clubs have five victories to their name, while there have been nine draws as well. There will be some familiar faces on show in this one: Freiburg's trio of Vincenzo Grifo, Jonathan Schmid and Manuel Gulde used to play for Hoffenheim, while TSG shot-stopper Oliver Baumann once plied his trade in Freiburg.

Saturday 15 February, 15:30 CET: TSG vs. VfL Wolfsburg

Meetings between TSG and VfL Wolfsburg tend to be high-scoring  there have been 81 goals in their last 23 Bundesliga clashes. That's an average of 3.52 goals per game, which is more than TSG games produce against any other opponent. Sargis Adamyan will have fond memories of the reverse fixture: the Armenian made his Bundesliga debut in a 1-1 draw. One day earlier, the TSG women will also host the Wolves for a top-of-the-table clash in the FLYERALARM Women's Bundesliga. Kick-off at the Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion on 14 February is at 19:15 CET.

Saturday 22 February, 15:30 CET: Borussia Mönchengladbach vs. TSG

The two clubs gained promotion from the Bundesliga 2 together in 2008 and have been in the top flight of German football without interruption since. They will face off for the 24th time at the end of February. The head-to-head record is even at present, with both Gladbach and Hoffenheim registering seven wins  in addition to nine stalemates. The Foals won the reverse fixture 3-0.

Saturday 29 February, 15:30 CET: TSG v. FC Bayern Munich

This will already be the third time this season that TSG have taken on Bayern Munich. But after away trips in the first half of the Bundesliga season and the DFB Cup last 16, it will be the first time this term that coach Alfred Schreuder's team have hosted the German record champions at the PreZero Arena. TSG have won two of their last three meetings with the Bavarian giants in Sinsheim.
