Timothy, the Bundesliga is finally about to restart at the weekend. How excited are you feeling?
"We're all obviously really looking forward to the second half of the season starting. We had a superb training camp (editor's note: in Florida) and we'll go into the opening matches with renewed energy and self-belief."
You took only one point from your final seven matches in the first half-season. Did the break come at the right time for you?
"A break obviously does everyone good after such a negative run. We all had a chance to catch our breath and to prepare ourselves optimally for the restart."
Saturday sees you take on TSG, who have proven to be Frankfurt's equal over recent years. What kind of game are you expecting and where do you feel TSG's strengths lie?
"TSG are a very strong footballing side; I'm expecting a very good match. Both teams obviously want to kick off the second half of the season by getting points, so I'm really looking forward to the match on Saturday."
You made several starts towards the end of the first half of the season. What are your personal objectives for the second half-season and what can Frankfurt still achieve this term?
"For me personally, it's important to get as much playing time as possible and to support my team on and off the pitch. We want to pick up lots of points in the league as quickly as possible and we're still involved in the Europa League and DFB Cup as well."
