''Never again!''

Dear TSG fans,

Since 2004, the matchday on or around 27 January has been chosen as ''Day of Remembrance in German Football.'' 27 January marks the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp in 1945. On this day, the whole of German football - clubs and fans alike - remember all those who fell victim to the atrocities committed by the Nazi regime.

The ''Day of Remembrance in German Football,'' is organised under the motto ''Nie Wieder!'' (Never Again!). This is a reference to the message sent out by the survivors of the Dachau concentration camp. The ''Nie Wieder!'' initiative was founded by a collective of football fans, including individuals, fan clubs, fan projects, clubs, associations and other football-related institutions. All parties are united in their engagement for a culture of remembrance and a stadium atmosphere free of discrimination.

''A day of remembrance for the victims of National Socialism''

The partner institutions across Germany organise various campaigns and events to tie in with the matchday on or around the ''Day of Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism.'' The ultimate goal is to send out a clear signal against modern-day racism, xenophobia and anti-semitism.

Each year, a commemorative text is read out in every Bundesliga stadium in Germany. We at TSG, together with the Hoffenheim Fan Project, the Civil Courage & Resistance Educational Centre as well as the Albert Schweitzer School Sinsheim would like to support this year's campaign day with new actions in and around the stadium. This is where our fans come in. We would like your help in coming up with new ideas, planning projects and organising events to bring this year's Day of Remembrance to life.

If you are interested in getting involved in the planning and development of the project, please get in touch with us at fanprojekt@awo-rhein-neckar.de.
