"It's awesome to get five wins on the bounce"

The players and coach were satisfied and content following their 3-0 victory over SC Paderborn.

Pavel Kadeřábek: "We played very well and had the match under control for 90 minutes. We're satisfied with the result. At half-time, we said that we wanted to continue playing the same way. And we did that, having already led 3-0 since the 26th minute. A big compliment to our team today. Now things look better for us; we obviously want to continue playing in the same vein and keep climbing higher in the table."

Robert Skov: "It was obviously a wonderful feeling to score my first Bundesliga goal from the free-kick. I'm very happy with the 3-0 scoreline. We controlled the game in the second period. It'll be a nice weekend for us. It's awesome to get five wins on the bounce in the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup."

Florian Grillitsch: "That was our third victory of the week. We're very satisfied. The match was already over after 25 minutes. We then saw it out comfortably. The coach prepared us well for our opponent; we knew where the spaces would be for us. We put that into practice well, created a lot of opportunities for ourselves and we were very ruthless too, which was often missing from our game in the previous matches when we weren't picking up the wins. Hopefully it will continue in the same vein, but next week in Cologne certainly isn't going to be easy. But we're aiming for another three points."

Jürgen Locadia: "We could've definitely scored a few more goals but 3-0 is still a good result at the end of the day. I'm obviously happy to have scored a goal for the second successive match. But that's the job of a striker. We made a good start to the match and performed well in the first half. We're playing some really good football as a team, but we need to keep doing that week-in, week-out."

Kevin Vogt: "We've performed outstandingly in our recent matches. Having lost a lot of players and signed a lot of new ones, some of whom weren't familiar with the league, it's taken some time. We've found our flow and we're putting things into practice very well. It's very high praise when the coach says that I didn't make a single mistake. But I'd like to pass that on, because it was a very good performance from all of us. Our link-up play was good, we were present and performed solidly at the back. You need to be mentally mature in an English week to see games out with such a level head and not get hit on the counter. It was just superb."

Alfred Schreuder: "We saw an almost perfect Hoffenheim in the first period. The lads showed the football we want to play. Our lads showed today how talented, focused and disciplined they are. We want more, you could see that. But today we can only be satisfied."

Steffen Baumgart (SC Paderborn coach): "Congratulations to TSG on what was a more than deserved win. We didn't produce the kind of performance you need if you want to be able to beat a top team. We were fortunate that Hoffenheim weren't so consistent towards the end. When you're already 3-0 down after 26 minutes, things can turn out very differently. There was a very big gulf in class on show today."
