Rosen to appear at the Frankfurt Book Fair

Alexander Rosen will take part in a round-table discussion entitled "Personal development in football" at the famous Frankfurt Book Fair on Saturday.

"Personal development in professional football – more of a dream than a reality?" is the title of the round-table discussion in which Alexander Rosen, the TSG Hoffenheim director of football, will participate at the Frankfurt Book Fair on Saturday (19 October). Among other things, the 40-year-old will discuss the independence of talented youngsters, the role of player consultation and the support ethos at TSG Hoffenheim.

Rosen has a special connection to Norway, the designated guest country for this year's fair. The TSG Hoffenheim sporting director spent almost two years playing for Norwegian side Follo FK between January 2006 and December 2007, later beginning his managerial career in the country.

Other participants in Saturday's panel include Professor Rolf Schwarz, Karlsruhe University of Education, Institute for Physical Education and Sport; Sven Kraft, Player Adviser at Finally Football GmbH; and Anton Schumacher, Pedagogical Head/Head of the Sports Boarding School at Eintracht Frankfurt. Karin Plötz will be the presenter. The round-table will begin at 15:00 CET on Saturday at the Kulturstadion (LitCam Area, Hall 3.1).
