Kramarić: "An unbelievable feeling"

The reactions from the players and coaches after the 2-0 win over FC Schalke 04.

Ihlas Bebou: "We struggled to find our feet in the game but then it got better. Schalke obviously had a lot of the ball and we tried to hold them off. In the end, we were rewarded with the two goals. It was simply a case of us doing our job well once Schalke tired. We're delighted that we were able to get the home victory. I'm very happy; as an offensive player I need to make these kinds of runs. That's what the coach says before every training session. The three points are hugely important for us, it's super."

Sebastian Rudy: "First and foremost, I'm delighted with the victory and the fact we got the three points. It was a good battling performance from us. Schalke played a very good first half. But we held our own very well and didn't give away all that many goalscoring chances. Schalke had more possession, more of the ball  but we were very solid defensively today. We waited for our chance and when it came in the second period, we took it mercilessly. It's a special experience to play against your former team-mates, but the most important thing was simply for us to get the three points. I'm absolutely delighted for Andrej Kramarić, who always gives 120 percent. He did everything in his power to ensure he would return quickly. We need him, you could see that today. Ihlas Bebou also produced a fantastic performance once he came off the bench."

Andrej Kramarić: "It was a special moment for me to play in an official match for the first time in five months, to take my first steps on the pitch and to score a goal, it was an absolutely incredible feeling. I had a tough time, it was my first serious injury. I have to be honest, Schalke were the better team but we still managed to pick up our second victory in a row. It was wonderful to play, having had to follow my team as a fan recently."

Stefan Posch: "It certainly wasn't a good performance from us, but we can't complain at a 2-0 victory. We simply took the chances that we got and kept a clean sheet. These three points were important for us. It was simply a case of being compact at the back and not giving away too many big chances. The switch we implemented for the second half did us good. Schalke frequently had the ball, but what ultimately counts is the result. We then finished off the counter-attacks very well. We're obviously absolutely delighted with the win."

Alfred Schreuder: "We deserved to win in the end, but Schalke were better for the first 60 minutes. There were spaces there but we didn't take advantage. We made a switch in the second half and sat deeper. It was clear that spaces would open the longer it stayed at 0-0. The boys were incredibly disciplined. Schalke were the best opponent that we've played against to date."

David Wagner (FC Schalke 04 coach): "Congratulations to TSG on what I believe to be a deserved win. We're anything but happy with the result. But it was at least a good away performance from the lads for 70 minutes. We controlled and dominated the game. We had enough chances to take the lead. Hoffenheim were very dangerous with their counter-attacks. We didn't defend them well."
