BENZ and TSG to build on successful partnership

TSG Hoffenheim is proud to announce that it's extending its commercial partnership with BENZ Baustoffe by a year, with the deal now set to run until 30 June 2020. BENZ, a local construction materials supplier, has seven outlets across the Rhine-Neckar Region and is a long-running partner of the club, with the association between the two clubs dating back to 2007.

''As a local owner-operated, medium-sized family business, BENZ Baustoffe are a perfectly-suited partner for us. We are very much looking forward to enjoying their continued support over the course of the coming season,'' says TSG Managing Director Dr. Peter Görlich. Roland Benz, Managing Partner at BENZ Baustoffe, expressed his ''pride at being able to experience and support the incredible developments taking place at TSG.''

The partnership includes an extensive range of advertising and sponsorship rights, including TV advertising space at all Bundesliga home games, numerous options for print and internet advertising as well as hospitality services in the PreZero Arena.

Founded 100 years ago in Neckarbischofsheim, BENZ Baustoffe are not only active in their branches in Bensheim, Hemsbach, Hockenheim, Hockenheim-Dachwelten, Mannheim and Neckarsulm; the company is also successful in trading its wide range of products online. In addition to construction materials, BENZ also offers a comprehensive service portfolio, ranging from assembly to energy consultation.

At the beginning of the year, BENZ also founded a training initiative - "Handwerk baut Zukunft" ("Trade builds the future") - which is focusing on the next generation of tradesmen in the construction industry. The shortage of young skilled workers is a much-discussed problem, the consequences of which are already making themselves felt today and threaten to endanger the future existence of the industry. The initiative aims to take on this problem and promote the skilled trade workers of tomorrow. The long-term project will bring lasting benefits for the entire industry in the Rhine-Neckar region and act as an important help mechanism for local businesses. The initiative will attract new apprentices and connect young people to local businesses on a long-term basis. Encompassing various campaigns and actions, "Handwerk baut Zukunft" will demonstrate the variability on offer within the various traditional construction trades as well as showcase the diverse opportunities for further training and professional development available to young people looking to enter the industry.
