Belfodil: "I'm incredibly happy"

Here are the reactions from the players and both coaches after TSG Hoffenheim comfortably beat FC Augsburg 4-0.

Ishak Belfodil: "I'm obviously incredibly happy about my first hat-trick in the Bundesliga. But I was also very happy last week that I was able to help Andrej get the record."

Kerem Demirbay: "We had enough chances in the opening stages to decide the game early on. But we played well defensively and up front we had an outstanding Ishak Belfodil, whose performance was sensational. I'm happy that we have Belfo in the team. He's a very intelligent player who reacts to situations well. He only scored the third goal, for example, because he reacted to the situation more quickly than the other players. We're now taking it game by game and we have a difficult opponent awaiting us in Hertha Berlin. But we're going into it in a healthy position."

Andrej Kramaric: "That was a really, really good performance from us. We showed what TSG is capable of. And we hope we can reproduce this level of performance in the remaining games and reach our objective of qualifying for Europe. This team has huge potential and would definitely have deserved Champions League football, but we haven't quite had the luck to get there this season."

Julian Nagelsmann: "We deservedly went in front in the first half. We should've doubled that lead earlier. It was a very mature display from us. What I liked is that our creative play was bold. There were hardly any long balls. In the second half, we defended more deeply and wanted to play on the counter. Ishak Belfodil played a superb game. We gave away very little. I think the victory is a fair result."

Manuel Baum (FC Augsburg coach): "We made a relatively large number of incorrect decisions in our build-up play and were always a step too late. Our performance was a bit lacking today so with that in mind Hoffenheim's win is fair."
