TSG & Amiri give Zabi a day to remember

Nadiem Amiri gave a young refugee, who attended the 2-1 win over 1. FC Nuremberg, a day to remember. The 17-year-old Zabi Ahmadi was invited by TSG Hoffenheim to watch the Bundesliga match in the stands alongside his friend Henri and later took part in the post-match press conference.

Once the game was over, Amiri met with Zabi, who fled from Afghanistan with his family. "My family comes from Afghanistan. And I'm simply delighted to have had the opportunity to make others happy," said the Hoffenheim player of the meeting.

It was a long journey for Zabi, who travelled through 10 different countries before arriving in Germany. He currently lives in the vicinity of Frankfurt. Of the meeting with his idol, a touched Zabi Ahmadi said: "It was a wonderful experience and I'm very grateful to Hoffenheim." The youngster was even interviewed by BILD newspaper at the end of the day.

Kramaric selected in ''kicker'' magazine's team of the round

Andrej Kramaric was the stand-out player on Sunday, scoring both goals in TSG's 2-1 win over 1. FC Nuremberg. The 27-year-old was rewarded for his strong showing with a place in ''kicker'' magazine's team of the round.
