INTERSPORT and TSG Hoffenheim launch matchworn store

As a long-established partner of the club, INTERSPORT have taken it upon themselves to make this historic and remarkable season all the more unforgettable for TSG fans by opening up a special matchworn store.

Immediately after the second half of the season kicked off, INTERSPORT and TSG Hoffenheim linked up to launch their own matchworn store. This concept is underpinned by a series of auctions which will take place over the course of the second half of the season. These auctions will take place via the INTERSPORT-Onlineshop and will give fans the chance to acquire historic original items of kit from a number of TSG matches this season.

INTERSPORT wants to reward all the loyal supporters and collectors out there, all those, who by always standing proudly by the side of their club, embody the company’s motto: ''For the love of sport’’. At the end of the season, 100% of the revenue generated from the auctions will go towards SOS-Kinderdorf - a charitable organisation which INTERSPORT has supported since 2017.

Each week in the INTERSPORT matchworn store, TSG fans will be able to find new auctions of unique pieces of memorabilia from the current season. All items will have been worn by TSG Hoffenheim players and will therefore have passion and emotion woven into their fabric.

Each individual item will have its own special story, and, if you make the winning bid, you too could be a part of it. At the end of the season, Intersport and TSG Hoffenheim will donate all revenue generated from the auctions towards SOS-Kinderdorf.

Teaser video with Leonardo Bittencourt at the launch of the matchworn store

In the film made to tie in with the launch of the Matchworn store, midfield player Leonardo Bittencourt pops up in the INTERSPORT store to surprise an unsuspecting TSG supporter who is in the process of buying a jersey and getting a name printed on the back of it. The film then goes on to show Bittencourt in the dressing room before the first game of the new year against Bayern Munich. He leaves the jersey that the kit-man has laid out for him untouched; instead, he pulls on the jersey which was purchased by the fan. After the match has ended, both Bittencourt and the fan meet in the tunnel, where Leo hands over his ''matchworn jersey’’. He is fresh from playing a key role in the match, having set up the goal which brought TSG to within a goal of Bayern.

An emotional story, which perfectly conveys the idea behind the new matchworn store.
