First session for Adams

Defender Kasim Adams Nuhui completed his first training session at TSG Hoffenheim on Thursday. The 23-year-old new signing, who joins the club from Swiss side Young Boys, appeared to be in good spirits: "I'm happy to be at such a fantastic club. I hope to see all the fans at the stadium soon and I'll give my best."

Hübner makes "International class" in "kicker" ranking

The German football magazine "kicker" publishes its "German Football Ranking List" biannually. The first part, which was released on Monday, focuses on goalkeepers and central defenders, among them four TSG players.

Benjamin Hübner was rewarded by the magazine for his performances in the second half of the season and included in the "International class" category. He occupies seventh place in the division-wide ranking list. After the first half of the campaign, the 29-year-old made it to the "Players in focus" category. "kicker" wrote: "It's definitely no fun to play against him. Extreme tackling strength and a healthy dose of robustness and cleverness set Benjamin Hübner apart. The Hoffenheim man lives on the edge, with his direct duels often pushing the rules to their limits without fouling. He's reliable, rather than intricate, with his build-up play. And, with two goals and an assist, he has increased his efficiency from set-pieces."

Hübner has been joined on the ranking list by his team-mate Kevin Vogt. The 26-year-old defended his 11th place from the first half of the season and again featured in the "Players of note" category. "kicker" wrote: "A poor game against Schalke aside, he's been somewhere between solid and good  and more consistent than the first half of the season. A leadership figure and a strategist in Hoffenheim's game."

Fellow TSG men Kevin Akpoguma and Oliver Baumann made it into the "Players in focus" category.
