Dennis Geiger out for the season
Dennis Geiger has suffered a frustrating blow: Monday afternoon’s diagnosis revealed that the TSG youngster picked up a muscle tendon injury in his right hamstring in the home game against VfL Wolfsburg (3-0). The news means that the 19-year-old will no longer be able to make any appearances for the rest of the season.
Julian Nagelsmann had to make an early substitution when the midfield player became injured in the 43rd minute of the match after colliding with Wolfsburg’s Robin Knoche. Eugen Polanski came onto the pitch in his place in a like-for-like substitution.
