TSG and Kaderábek agree two year contract extension until 2021

TSG Hoffenheim have extended the contract of defender Pavel Kaderábek for another two years on top of his current deal. The new deal now runs until June 30th 2021, an important agreement as Hoffenheim look to guarantee the services of the key right-back for years to come.

Alexander Rosen, TSG’s director of sport, was pleased about the 28-year-old Czech Republic international putting pen to paper on the extension. Over the last two years, Kaderábek has “developed into a reliable starter on the right-flank, thanks to his power, his offensive capabilities, and his tireless effort.” That’s also why he’s recently been in the spotlight for wearing the Czech Republic shirt. “Pavel’s decision just goes to show that we have ambitious players here, and the prospect of playing for TSG is an exciting and challenging one,” explained Rosen.

Manager Julian Nagelsmann is also “pleased that we’ve secured the services for another cornerstone of the team in the long-term.” In addition, key players Oliver Baumann, Steven Zuber, Kerem Demirbay, Nadiem Amiri, Adam Szalai, and Sandro Wagner have extended their contracts as of late.

“I can feel the faith that TSG have in me and I can tell that those higher up believe in me too – that’s why the decision was an easy one for me to make,” explained Pavel Kaderábek, who considers Julian Nagelsmann and his coaching staff “an important factor in further developing as a player.” He also feels “comfortable not just in terms of football-wise, but also in terms of the local surroundings.”

The dynamic defender, who joined Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015 from Sparta Prague, has made 51 Bundesliga appearances and two DFB-Pokal appearances for TSG.
