Summer schedule - Warm up in the mountains

A tiresome, turbulent season has reached its happy ending for TSG. After a six-week summer break and the European Championship, preparation for Hoffenheim’s ninth Bundesliga season will commence on the 3rd July.

To start with, head coach Julian Nagelsmann and his coaching staff will ask the players for a performance diagnostic test. Leading on from that, the seven-week pre-season training programme in the Bavarian Alps will begin. The team will travel to Garmisch Partenkirchen to lay down the sporting foundations for the new season ahead. The second training camp at the end of July will also take place in fresh Alpine air among the mountains - the TSG boys will work on the finishing touches of their preparation in Austria’s Bad Häring (Tyrol).

Between the two training camps, the team will practice at the training centre in Zuzenhausen. Several players will miss parts of the pre-season period due to the European Championship in France, the U19 EUROs in Baden-Württemberg and the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
