Schreuder extends until 2019

TSG have extended the contract of assistant manager Alfred Schreuder by three years until summer 2019.

43-year-old Schreuder joined TSG in October 2015 along with Huub Stevens, who was forced to resign due to health reasons, and has continued to work with current head coach Julian Nagelsmann.  “I have settled in wonderfully at TSG and I think we have a good chance of reaching the top level here,” said Schreuder. Sporting director Alexand Rosen is also delighted that the Dutchman has committed his future to TSG. “Alfred isn’t just a football specialist, he is highly regarded at the club due to his great personality. He is a real asset and an important figure in our coaching team,” praised Rosen.

Schreuder spent his playing career at in the Dutch first division for clubs like Feyenoord Rotterdam and FC Twente, where he worked as head coach in the Eredivisie before heading to Hoffenheim.
