TSG unveils 2016/17 home shirt

The kit wasn’t just on display at the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena on Saturday, but it was also made immediately available for supporters via the online shop.

TSG will present themselves in a high-quality combination of blue shades in their home games next season. While the front and back of the shirt will continue to be in the traditional Hoffenheim blue colours, the darker shades on the shoulders and sleeves make for a nice contrast. Kit supplier Lotto has again included the slanted design from the club logo on the front of the shirt. Four diagonal stripes getting progressively broader give the shirt an unmistakable look.

The rear of the jersey features a new and individual touch thanks to a renewed structure and pattern. The stylish design is rounded off with fine appliqués like the two-toned collar, the dark-blue hem and the club logo print.

"We have developed a design for the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim kit which leans on the traditional club colours and at the same time presents itself in a stylish and creative way," said Andrea Tomat, president of LOTTO Sport Italia. The Italian sports equipment company and TSG are now going into their third season together and the partnership has “always reflected their mutual values”, such as innovation and determination according to Tomat, who is eagerly anticipating the start of the new season and plenty of “exciting” Bundesliga games.

"Our claim is always to be modern and innovative, but to remain down-to-earth," explained TSG chief executive Dr. Peter Görlich. "We have succeeded in doing that with our new kit."

The home shirt for the 2016/17 season will cost €74.95 in all regular sizes. The price for adult shirts has thus remained frozen for four straight years. The entire 2016/17 range, including the away and alternate kit, will be presented during pre-season.
