Markus Gisdol:Bremen were the better side in the first 20 minutes and scored their goals at the right time in both halves. We upped our game after the opening stages. We went to sleep just after the restart. We weren't potent enough going forward. It's bitter to start with two defeats. We can spare the questions about Europe. We have to concentrate on our values in order to pick up points.
Viktor Skripnik:We started very well, but our game dropped. We could have conceded two or three times before the break. We were a lot better in the second half but we knew that it would be tough until the end as Hoffenheim have good players. We knew that we'd have to work hard and the three points help us a lot in the relegation battle.
Oliver Baumann:It took us a while to get into the game but then we had our chances. The goals we conceded were too easy. We didn't create enough chances in the second half to come away with a point. We have to definitely put in a better performance next time out.
Eugen Polanski:We didn't do well enough in certain situations. We also weren't good enough when we were in good positions. We completely fell asleep in the opening stages. We tried to create chances at the end but Bremen were sitting very deep and we couldn't do that. We'll have to talk about that tomorrow.
Jannik Vestergaard:We played well as a team and put in a good performance tonight. The team was determined and we defended well. The strikers were very clinical going forward but they also helped us at the back.
