Comfortable win over
Liechtenstein for
Salihovic & Bicakcic

The Bosnia national team, including Hoffenheim players Sejad Salihovic and Ermin Bicakcic, beat Liechtenstein 3-0 in a friendly held in Tuzla early on Thursday evening. The goals for the recent World Cup participants were scored by Vedad Ibisevic (2) and Edin Dzeko.

Salihovic, who was included in TSG's 18-man matchday squad last weekend in Bremen for the first time after picking up an injury at the World Cup in Brazil, played the whole 90 minutes in a team managed by Safet Susic. Bicakcic was subbed off at half time for Mensur Mujdža.

Manager Susic was only partly happy after the game: “We played well for the first 30 minutes but a game lasts for 90. The second half was poor. Nonetheless, it's good to have a victory under our belt before our first European Championship qualifier against Cyprus.”

Ermin Bicakcic got in touch with achtzehn99.de later on Thursday evening: “The game was a big event for the people of Tuzla because that was the first time that we've played there. Everything went according to plan – we won and kept a clean sheet. By full time, our focus had already turned to the qualifier against Cyprus.”
