The reaction to the game against Hertha BSC

The concerned parties spoke after the TSG's 1-1 draw in Berlin.

Markus Gisdol: It's very difficult for me to talk about football. The game was overshadowed by the injury of Koen Casteels. It's hard to watch when one of your own players goes off like that. But Alexander Stolz did well when he came on. The bottom line is that he earned a deserved point for us. We're glad that we took him with us today.

Jos Luhukay: The injury of Casteels came about very unfortunately. Adrian Ramos was upset after the game as he feared that Casteels is seriously injured. My thoughts go out to Koen Casteels. I also think that a draw was the right result. Both teams wanted to win towards the end and the game became more and more intense. We had an opportunity to win it, but so did Hoffenheim.

Andreas Beck: “We can be happy with a point. Berlin played intelligently and set themselves up well. We couldn't take control of the game like we had done in previous matches Therefore it was a scrappy game and not a spectacle.”

Eugen Polanski: “I think that a draw reflects the game well. All in all today, we didn't play football in certain instances. What we did well was that we could create chances.”
