Gladbach match reaction

Here is the match reaction following Hoffenheim's 2-2 draw with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Markus Gisdol: Right from the start, I thought we were in the game. And then we were 2-0 down. We tried to reorganise at half time, so as to put Gladbach under more pressure. We got better minute by minute. The point is fully deserved. If you come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 in the Bundesliga then it's always good.

Lucien Favre: It was a good Bundesliga game. Drawing 2-2 after leading 2-0 hurts though. We started really well and we had chances to make it 3-0. We really wanted to score that third because we knew that Hoffenheim had the quality to come back. We weren't awake for their first goal and it hurt us, mentally. We had too little possession after that. It's disappointing and we're in a bit of a difficult period at the moment. We can't forget that we played against a very good team today though.

Fabian Johnson: My foot was stepped on for the penalty, and that's why the decision makes sense for me. Markus Gisdol told us to forget the scoreline during the break. We kept playing football and tried to create chances. We managed to make that happen too. Having been down at the break, we've got to be pleased with the point. As a team, we've got the quality to come back without being rash.

Tony Jantschke: We took the lead in a fortunate manner, then made it 2-0 and then failed to make sure of the result. Then we are 2-0 up and Hoffenheim are throwing everything at us. That made defending difficult. Hoffenheim have an absolutely brutal attack. It's unbelievable that they managed to turn it around. It's disappointing for us.
