Zsolt Petry extends contract with TSG until 2015

Zsolt Petry will stay on for two further years as TSG's goalkeeping coach. The 46-year-old recently extended his contract – due to run out in June – until 2015. The former Hungarian international goalkeeper has been with Hoffenheim since the summer of 2009. Sporting director Andreas Müller: “Zsolt Petry commands a great deal of respect at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, both as a coach and as a person. Therefore, we're very pleased that he will stay with us.”

Petry, who is currently at the TSG training camp in Portugal, talked on Wednesday in the team hotel about working together with Tim Wiese, Koen Casteels and Jens Grahl: “We have three great goalkeepers and it's important to me that we go about our training seriously but enjoy working with each other so that everyone can profit from it. Goalkeeping is generally very complex and the individual requirements of our keepers make this task both exciting and appealing for me.”
