Twelve TSG players on international duty

Even as the Bundesliga takes a break this weekend, there are a few TSG 1899 Hoffenheim players who will be in action. There are a number of important international fixtures ahead for many countries. For twelve of Markus Babbel's men that means it's time to pack. The Japanese international Takashi Usami is due to stay in Kraichgau and will train with the remaining players.

Fabian Johnson and Daniel Williams have been selected by USA coach Jürgen Klinsmann for their World Cup Qualifiers against Jamaica. The first game is on Friday in Kingston and the second, at home in Columbus, is on the following Tuesday (11th). Sejad Salihovic will take part in two WC Qualifiers. Bosnia and Herzegovina play on Friday in Liechtenstein and play at home four days later in Zenica against Latvia. Eren Derdiyok will represent Switzerland on Friday in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana and on the following Tuesday, host Albania in Lucerne. Stephan Schröck has three games ahead of him for the Philippines. On Wednesday he faces Cambodia, two days later the team are in Singapore and three days after that, in Laos.

Four Germany U21 Players

Germany's U21 side play their last two European Championship qualifiers on the 7th and the 10th of this month. Firstly, Rainer Adrion's side will play Belarus in Rostock before travelling to Sarajevo to play Bosnia and Herzegovina. Germany have already won their group with eight wins from eight, therefore securing their place in the play-offs. Sebastian Rudy, Stefan Thesker, Kevin Volland and Boris Vukcevic are the four TSG players involved.

Jannik Vestergaard plays for the Denmark U21 side on Friday in a qualifier against Serbia, as well as against Northern Ireland three days later. As the second placed side, currently two points behind Serbia, the game could turn out to be a group decider. Michael Gregoritsch represents Austria's U21 side in their games against Netherlands and Scotland. Second place is still a possibility, as Scotland currently only have two points more. Koen Casteels is involved in the Belgium U21 fixtures, both home games. On the 6th they play Norway and four days later, Iceland. Chances of qualification are slim as they sit five points behind second-placed Norway.
