TSG sign Filip Malbasic
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have made another new signing for the upcoming Bundesliga campaign: U21 Serbian international Filip Malbasic. The 19-year-old offensive player joins the Bundesliga outfit from Serbian top flight club FK Rad Belgrad and signed a deal with Hoffenheim until 2016.
Headcoach Markus Babbel on the transfer: “Filip is a young and highly talented player. With him, we can amplify our offensive alternatives.”
Malbasic made 22 appearances for FK Rad Belgrad last season in the Serbian SuperLiga. Furthermore, he was involved in two qualifying games for the Europa League. In 2011, he also played for his countries U19 European Championships in Romania.
