Isaac Vorsah moves to Salzburg

Isaac Vorsah has left TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, transferring immediately to Austrian first division side Red Bull Salzburg. The 24 year old Ghanaian had been with TSG since 2007, making 93 Bundesliga appearances and scoring three goals. He also won 17 caps and scored one goal in the second division, and played 12 cup matches for 1899.

Vorsah on his transfer: “I've really enjoyed my time in Hoffenheim and I'm very thankful for the support that I've received. After five years with TSG, I'm looking forward to the new challenge at Salzburg.”

Red Bull Salzburg play in the top division in Austria, also called the Bundesliga. The club has been champions seven times, won the Austrian Cup in 2012 and reached the final of the UEFA Cup in 1994. Vorsah will meet up with a former acquaintance and boss in the form of sporting director Ralf Rangnick. The transfer fee remains undisclosed.
