Vukcevic undergoes successful surgery
Boris Vukcevic who went under the knife in order to operate on the fracture in his right fibula that has been causing him problems since he sustained the injury against Hamburger SV.
The operation took place on Thursday of this week in the BG accident clinic in nearby Tübingen. As was planned beforehand, the doctors provided more stability to the lower leg by inserting a titanium plate where the break had occurred, after the German youth international picked up the injury on Matchday 28. For now it looks like it could be between 8-10 weeks before Vukcevic can join his teammates in training once again.
We hope it is a successful and speedy process and wish Boris all the best on his road to recovery.
