Rudy joins the full national side

Joachim Löw, manager of the German national team, has called upon 1899 Hoffenheim's very own Sebastian Rudy to help increase numbers in his depleted squad as they prepare for Tuesday's Euro 2012 qualifier against Azerbaijan in Baku.

"Sebastian has put in consistently good performances throughout this season in both the Bundesliga and as part of the U-21 set-up. He fully deserves his call-up", explained Hoffenheim manager Ernst Tanner. On a personal level, being chosen to represent his country, means Sebastian Rudy will be fulfilling a lifelong dream. "I'm delighted to have been selected. I've made a few appearances as part of the German U-21's, but to be a part of the full national side is a dream come true for any professional footballer", stated Rudy.

Marvin Compper, Tobias Weis and Andreas Beck have all been involved with the full national side meaning that Rudy becomes the fourth 1899 Hoffenheim player to represent Germany under Joachim Löw.
