Jaissle out for up to a month

1899 Hoffenheim centre-back Matthias Jaissle, will not be avaiable for the Kraichgau outfit over the coming weeks having enjoyed an extended period in the first team recently.

The 22-year old suffered an unfortunate mishap during training and after an examination by the club doctors it was determined that the youngster had torn ligaments in his right knee and is likely to be out for roughly 4-6 weeks. It's a shame for the defender who had been taking advantage of the injuries to Josip Simunic and Isaac Vorsah, which saw him start matches alongside Marvin Compper in recent weeks, although he was on the losing side on both occasions against 1. FSV Mainz and Borussia Mönchengladbach. 1899 will still be hoping for a speedy recovery as Jaissle is a highly-rated youngster who provides and important "Plan B" at the back for Marco Pezzaiuoli.
