1899 Hoffenheim 1-1 1. FC Kaiserslautern

Hoffenheim played out a scrappy 1-1 draw with Kaiserslautern today. Find out what the managers and players of the respective sides had to say about the result:

Holger Stanislawski: “The only consolation from today's game is that we came away with a point. We were poor today; I'm very disappointed with our performance. We're playing in one of the strongest leagues in Europe and we need to do better, but the boys will be better in our next game, I'm sure of that.”

Marco Kurz: “I'm very satisfied with my team. We played extremely well today. We were unlucky to concede in the way we did, but we cam back well. A few small improvements sans we'll soon be winning games like that.”

Tom Starke: “The goal we conceded was a screamer and sometimes you can't do anything about it when goals like that go in. We can do better though. Hopefully our boys come back strongly from the international break and we can get going again in the league.”

Vedad Ibisevic: “We missed some good chances today, which, if they'd gone in, I'm sure e would have had enough to win. We just look forward to the next game against Hamburg after the international games.”

Mathias Abel: “Over the 90 minutes we were the better team. We're happy with a point, but we believe we could have won the game.”
