Tobias Weis undergoes knee operation
Midfielder Tobias Weis has undergone an operation on his right knee. Recurring pains because of build up of mucus and damage to the patella at the front of the knee have made an operation necessary, following guidance from Dr. Boenisch in Augsburg.
"The operation has gone well. Tobias will be able to begin some light training again in four to six weeks time", explained 1899 doctor Dr. Maibaum. "I'm very happy that the operation went well. Unfortunately I don't have much time to go on holiday, because I want to be fit again for the start of the season. That's the only thing that counts", reflected the 25-year old Weis.
