Performance test following training camp

After two free days the players from 1899 Hoffenheim underwent a performance test in order to stay fit and sharp when the Bundesliga kick off comes – on 21. August against Werder Bremen.

The intensive training camp in Leogang is over. The players used the free days to clear their heads and rest their legs so that they could come back and pass the performance test with no problems. The lactate test was carried out this time by Dr. Joachim Jost from the Olympiastützpunkt Rhein-Neckar, who along with his team made the journey from Heidelberg to Zuzenhausen to carry out the test.

The camp in Leogang was based on high volumes of training at low intensity, and now athletics trainer Yannick Obenauer should have enough information to assess the current fitness of the 1899 Hoffenheim squad.
